Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stan Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timbe Suomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Killing in the Name of (Remix). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Timbe Suomi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suomi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ross as he jumps to the side.
Ross gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Suomi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ross is trying to stand back up but Suomi is controlling him
Ross looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ross pushes Suomi off looking to stand but Suomi dives back in and keeps control.
Suomi is looking to advance position but Ross won't allow it.
Suomi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ross with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nice strikes from Suomi there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suomi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Suomi winds up and cracks Ross with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ross is trying to stand.
Ross makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

and Suomi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Suomi lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Suomi slips a nice elbow through Ross's hands, connecting with Ross's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross tries to kick Suomi off but Suomi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ross scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Suomi manages to mount him!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Suomi lands a heavy elbow.
Suomi is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ross defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Suomi.
Suomi landing punches.
Suomi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ross is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Suomi looking to finish Ross with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ross!
Ross is trying to stand up.
Suomi with shots to the head and body - Ross looks very uncomfortable down there.

Ross wants to try and get back to his feet.
Ross is breathing heavily.
Suomi in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Ross's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Suomi has control of Ross's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ross regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Ross sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Ross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suomi on the ground.
Ross is trying to stand up here but Suomi is controlling him well.
Suomi is working for a kimura but Ross is defending it quite comfortably.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ross is not content to let Suomi control the position.

Ross pushes Suomi off looking to stand but Suomi dives back in and keeps control.
Ross looking for a kimura from the bottom but Suomi passes into side control!

Suomi lands some shots froms side control.
Suomi landing a few strikes.
Ross tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Suomi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ross is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Suomi asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ross wants to get back to his feet but Suomi is dominant here and he's now got Ross's back!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Suomi working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Ross is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Suomi has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Ross taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Timbe Suomi!
