Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bouraka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Schuman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Schuman!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Schuman.

Bouraka bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Bouraka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schuman sprawling to the canvas! Schuman rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bouraka finish him?!

It looks like Dan Schuman has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Schuman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Bouraka is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bouraka is looking for a triangle but Schuman pushes his legs off easily.

Schuman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bouraka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schuman has managed to get both his arms back between Bouraka's legs - danger averted.

Schuman trying to control the position from guard on top but Bouraka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Schuman wants to take a breather but Bouraka is having none of it.
Schuman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bouraka's head.

Schuman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bouraka has managed to free his arm - good work.

Schuman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bouraka is just riding it out for now. Schuman eventually gives up the hold.
It looks like Schuman is going to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bouraka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schuman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Schuman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bouraka to score with a decent uppercut.

Bouraka rushes Schuman with punches - Schuman moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Schuman goes down! Bouraka follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
