Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bellmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Bellmont! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Massey! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellmont tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bellmont is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Massey's half guard. Massey is looking for a sweep. Bellmont is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Massey is not content to let Bellmont control the position. Bellmont keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Massey trying to control but Bellmont postures up.
Massey moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bellmont trying to control but Massey is working from the bottom. Bellmont is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bellmont trying to control the position from guard on top but Massey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Massey working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bellmont tries to free his leg and advance position but Massey is retaining full guard. Bellmont has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Massey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Massey trying to keep a closed guard but Bellmont is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bellmont. Bellmont knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Massey on the ground. Bellmont trying to control the action but Massey is working from the bottom. Bellmont working away. Massey is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bellmont scores with a couple of short elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bellmont is looking to take a break and control but Massey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Massey tries to buck Bellmont off but Bellmont is having none of it. Massey manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bellmont is thwarting Massey's attempts to control the position. Bellmont decides to stand up. Massey feints and as Bellmont raises his hands in defense, Massey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bellmont wants to get back to his feet but Massey is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bellmont is breathing heavily. Bellmont is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Massey dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bellmont is trying to get back to half guard. Massey works to advance to full mount. Bellmont defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Bellmont is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Massey raining down shots from the mount! Bellmont tries to improve his position but instead Massey has taken his back! Will Massey go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Massey is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Massey keeps control of the position as Bellmont tries to break free.
Massey lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Massey.

Bellmont is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. You can see the frustration on Bellmont's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Massey tries to get the hooks in deep but Bellmont pushed the leg off. Massey sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bellmont taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Josh Massey!
