And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasques will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Velasques wants to clinch up but Rabbits keeps it at a distance.
Rabbits throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Velasques counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rabbits is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Velasques throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rabbits's head.
Velasques goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rabbits is rocked!
Rabbits misses with a combination
and Velasques counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Velasques looks at the referee who does nothing so Velasques lands a crushing right that sends Rabbits to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
