Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
joyce closes the distance and clinches up with ahr, looking for a takedown. joyce pushes ahr against the cage but ahr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
joyce fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. ahr sprawls well initially but joyce persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
joyce thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
ahr is trying to stand up here but joyce is controlling him well.
ahr gets full guard.
ahr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
joyce trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
ahr wants to sweep but no luck.
joyce stands up from guard. Let's bang!

ahr throws a jab but it's blocked by joyce.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, joyce cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
ahr tries to lock up and control but joyce gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
joyce thowing shots but they're missing.
ahr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
ahr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control joyce kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

ahr is desperately trying to improve his position but joyce has a good base and remains in mount.
ahr sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

ahr is looking to control joyce's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can ahr avoid being mounted?

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

ahr is looking for a sweep. joyce is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and joyce counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for ahr!
joyce postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. ahr looks a forlorn figure.
ahr keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
joyce takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
joyce can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as ahr is looking to escape.

and joyce decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in ahr's guard.
joyce slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
joyce is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in ahr's half guard.
joyce is looking to advance position but ahr won't allow it.
joyce decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
joyce doesn't succeed with the takedown
and ahr counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by ahr.

joyce has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
ahr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

That was a close second round but I would say that chad joyce will probably get the nod.
That's time! joyce's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
