Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hendo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Ragno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and pushes Ragno back into the cage.
Gracie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Ragno in a clinch.
Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ragno tries to break the clinch but Gracie is controlling the position.

Dean Ragno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ragno napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ragno keeps working.

Ragno tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Gracie easily slips into full mount!
Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gracie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Ragno is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Hendo Gracie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ragno swings and misses with a hook to the body.

No joy there for Ragno, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dean Ragno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ragno throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.

Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Ragno pushes him off.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ragno has his hands clasped together around Gracie's back. He's all about the action.
Well, if Gracie is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Dean Ragno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ragno for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gracie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
