Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Jawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jawo comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot by Black Eyed Peas. Robertson has chosen The Proclaimers - 500 Miles as his entrance music. Sonny Jawo has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawo connects with a high kick.
Robertson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Jawo throws a good cross that connects.
Jawo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Trevor Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robertson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jawo was covering up waiting for the punch and Robertson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Robertson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Robertson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Robertson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Trevor Robertson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
