Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Stuart Wray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wacko Warner!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wray looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Wray does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Warner swats away the attempt to clinch by Wray.

Warner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wray.
Warner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Warner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Warner has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Wray thumps Warner with a low kick.

Wray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Warner.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Warner crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wray - the referee stops the clock and Warner gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wray. Warner manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wray is looking to land body kicks.
Wray throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Warner sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Warner tries to keep at a distance but Wray has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wray lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wray rushes Warner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Warner throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Wray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Warner connects with a nice looking jab.
Warner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Warner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wray was well out of range. Poor timing from Warner.

Warner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wray swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wray holds on and takes a little breather.
Wacko Warner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stuart Wray.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wray, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
