Alves shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tanghe is trying to defend but Alves finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Alves is really struggling to control Tanghe but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
