Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anubus Osirus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xander Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua has chosen Haka as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua closes the distance and clinches up with Osirus , looking for a takedown. Tua pushes Osirus against the cage but Osirus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Osirus checks a low kick from Tua.
Tua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Osirus 's waist but Osirus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tua off to one side.
Tua shoots for a double leg takedown but Osirus sprawls well. He's pushed Tua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Anubus Osirus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xander Tua.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Osirus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Xander Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Osirus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tua's guard.

Tua will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Tua shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Osirus pinned against the cage. Osirus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Osirus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tua avoids it really well and circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Osirus leaves Tua with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Osirus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tua sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Osirus somewhat.
