Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ground Pounder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gahn Jah!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Pounder throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jah misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Pounder feints and as Jah raises his hands in defense, Pounder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pounder stands and throws Jah's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Check out the look on Pounder's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Jah takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.


It looks like Gahn Jah has been cut.
Jah is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Pounder asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jah manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pounder's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pounder winds up and cracks Jah with a swinging punch to the side of the head.


That has opened up Gahn Jah's cut even more.

Pounder thows a huge punch but Jah dodges it nicely.
Pounder is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pounder lands a nice short elbow.

Jah is looking to control Pounder's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jah avoid being mounted?
Jah gets back to full guard.

Pounder stops Jah from standing up.
Jah wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Pounder manages to pass to side control.
Nice strikes from Pounder there.
Pounder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pounder not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Pounder working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jah pushes Pounder off but Pounder dives into side control.

Jah is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pounder is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The cut above Gahn Jah's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Jah is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Pounder in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Pounder cracks Jah with a big elbow.

Jah is pushing Pounder's head away, looking to escape. Pounder manages to hold on to the position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jah is looking to chop away at Pounder's legs.

Pounder shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jah's guard.
Pounder won't allow Jah to get back to his feet.
Pounder loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Pounder got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jah has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pounder has managed to get both his arms back between Jah's legs - danger averted.

Pounder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jah is breathing heavily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pounder's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Pounder prevents Jah from getting back to his feet.
Pounder is in close to Jah's body, working some short punches and elbows.


Gahn Jah's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gahn Jah's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ground Pounder!
