Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Lebowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Mesquita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lebowski comes to the cage accompanied by The Man in Me. The key to victory for Jeff Lebowski has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeff Lebowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Mesquita! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lebowski connects with a single shot there. Mesquita keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lebowski. Mesquita does a little dance to reset his feet. Mesquita takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Mesquita closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mesquita lands in his opponent's guard. Mesquita drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lebowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mesquita has Lebowski in his guard. Mesquita should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mesquita has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lebowski is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mesquita. Mesquita is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mesquita looks gassed! Mesquita throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Lebowski with a jab. Lebowski jabs at Mesquita's body. Lebowski's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lebowski duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mesquita takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lebowski dips to his left and cracks Mesquita with an uppercut! Lebowski lands a jab. Lebowski lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Lebowski drops Mesquita with a beautiful combination! Mesquita stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lebowski is looking for the KO!
Mesquita is rocked! BOOM! Lebowski lands a beautiful left hook that drops Mesquita. Mesquita tries to recover but Lebowski is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Mesquita lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Lebowski!
