Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Beat It - MJ as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Victor Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryu Hayabusa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Silva! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva throws a nice outside leg kick. Silva misses with a low kick. Silva throws out a leg kick but Hayabusa moves out of range and Silva only half commits. A jab from Silva finds it's way through Hayabusa's defenses. Hayabusa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hayabusa at a distance.
Silva throws out a powerful jab. Hayabusa is breathing heavily. Hayabusa misses with a looping left. Hayabusa throws a big shot that misses. Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayabusa.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silva. That's going to slow Hayabusa down. Hayabusa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Silva knocks Hayabusa to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Hayabusa is rocked! The referee asks Silva politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Silva prefers to stall for the moment though. Silva tries for a kimura but Hayabusa is defending well.

He has the arm isolated but Hayabusa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva trying to control the action but Hayabusa is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Victor Silva. Silva throws a quick inside leg kick. Hayabusa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Nice defenses there by Silva. Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hayabusa.
Silva throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Hayabusa throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily. Hayabusa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayabusa throws an overhand right that lands on Silva's shoulder, as Silva tries to avoid the shot. Hayabusa throws a predictable looking body shot
and Silva makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hayabusa really felt that one! Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hayabusa. That did some damage! Ryu Hayabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hayabusa is out of range. Silva tests Hayabusa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Silva chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Silva connects with a body shot. Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hayabusa. Silva lands a nice looking body shot.
Silva connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Silva scores with a head kick.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Hayabusa's front leg but catches the back leg as Hayabusa tries to avoid it. Silva scoring well with a low kick there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Silva darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hayabusa walks straight into a right hand from Silva - that's dropped him! Silva jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hayabusa from any more punishment! Hayabusa complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Victor Silva! Victor Silva is the new heavyweight champion!
