The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds scores with a crisp jab that stopped Riggs in his tracks.
It looks like Remero Riggs has been cut.
Reynolds fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Danga de danga de dang - Reynolds scores with a four punch combination!
Riggs tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reynolds sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riggs somewhat.
Riggs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reynolds lands a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riggs shoots for a double leg takedown but Reynolds sprawls well. He's pushed Riggs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Reynolds connects with a body shot.
Riggs takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Riggs is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reynolds throws a one two combo.
Reynolds scores with a nice strike.
Donk. Reynolds catches Riggs right on the button with a cross.
Reynolds throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Riggs stumbling backwards into the cage! Riggs bounces back off the cage towards Reynolds, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Reynolds lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Reynolds celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rex Reynolds!
