Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Warhol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warhol looks for a takedown but Walker sprawls well.

Warhol closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Warhol pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Paul Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Warhol takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Walker wants to slow Warhol down by chopping away at his legs.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Warhol. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Paul Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Walker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Walker looks to land a combination but Warhol avoids it well.

Paul Walker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Walker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warhol moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A nice combination there by Walker.
Walker stalks Warhol and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Warhol's face. Warhol staggers backwards, shaken.
Walker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Matt Warhol has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Walker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Paul Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
