The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarkatan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gonzales bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tarkatan's head.

Gonzales has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tarkatan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gonzales.
Gonzales is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tarkatan off and has taken his back!
Gonzales slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
