Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bosse Stenhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcon McDowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stenhard comes to the ring accompanied by Blur - Song 2. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Malcon McDowell!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDowell tries to bum rush Stenhard with a series of wild strikes but Stenhard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McDowell moves in looking to clinch but Stenhard pushes him off.
McDowell throws a nice looking combination but Stenhard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McDowell tries to close the distance and clinch but Stenhard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stenhard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McDowell was covering up waiting for the punch and Stenhard finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Stenhard wants to pass the guard but McDowell is keeping the position.
McDowell tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Stenhard stands up from guard. Let's bang!

McDowell has Stenhard up against the ropes in a clinch.

Stenhard wants the takedown. McDowell is fighting it off but Stenhard persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in McDowell's guard against the ropes.
Stenhard wants to get up but he can't break McDowell's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
McDowell looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stenhard trying to stand up but can't free himself from McDowell's guard.

Stenhard stands up from guard. Let's bang!
McDowell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McDowell tries to clinch but Stenhard moves out of range.
McDowell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stenhard was well out of range. Poor timing from McDowell.
McDowell tries to bum rush Stenhard with a series of wild strikes but Stenhard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McDowell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stenhard.
Stenhard misses with a low kick as McDowell jumps back.
Stenhard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A punch combination from McDowell misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from McDowell. Stenhard does a little dance to reset his feet.
McDowell is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stenhard shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Stenhard is trying to control the action in half guard but McDowell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Stenhard has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McDowell defend it? Stenhard steps over the head and cranks it - McDowell is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stenhard!
