The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Swagger or perhaps it was just good defense by Ribeiro which made him look bad.
Swagger tries a head kick but it misses.
Swagger looks to land a combination but Ribeiro avoids it well.
Swagger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Swagger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
