Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Rivero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Morton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivero swinging wildly here.
A punch lands to the side of Rivero 's head but he takes it in his stride.
No joy there for Rivero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rivero misses with a wild combination.
Rivero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morton circles away quickly and effectively.

Rivero misses with a wild body shot.
A combination from Rivero does no damage.
A combination from Morton does no damage.
Rivero bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Morton lands a big uppercut and Rivero crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rivero looks OK. Morton waves Rivero back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivero misses with a combination
and Morton counters with a left and a right... And another left! Rivero is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carl Morton!
