Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobe takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Carver looks to land a left hand but Lobe moved out of range nicely.
Lobe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carver.
Carver changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Lobe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lobe is keen to just control but Carver is a slippery customer.
Carver is looking to control Lobe's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carver avoid being mounted?

Carver swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lobe.

Lobe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Lobe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carver manages to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Carver scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Lobe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carver won't be happy with that.
Carver gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Carver bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lobe's guard.
Carver stays in close to Lobe's body and controls the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lobe tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Carver content to stall in guard here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lobe is on top in guard.
Carver avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Carver uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lobe.
Lobe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carver as he avoids it easily.
Carver scores with a jab to the head.
Lobe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Carver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lobe manages to avoid it.
A big right from Carver misses.
Lobe takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Carver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lobe moves away.
Lobe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lobe moves out of range as Carver strikes.

Lobe throws a body punch but Carver moves out of range.
Carver goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lobe is rocked!
Carver cracks Lobe with a left hook right on the temple and Lobe goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Carver lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Lobe is OK!
