Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between IP Freeley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chun Rhialto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chun Rhialto! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhialto ducks under a wild hook from Freeley. Freeley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Rhialto working a defensive guard but Freeley passes into half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Rhialto trying to strike off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Freeley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rhialto looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Freeley! Rhialto is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Freeley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rhialto throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Rhialto unloads with some shots from mount but Freeley bucks and avoids them well.
Rhialto is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freeley wants to clinch up but Rhialto keeps it at a distance. Rhialto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freeley. Freeley wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Chun Rhialto will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Freeley swats away the attempt to clinch by Rhialto. Rhialto closes the distance and pushes Freeley back into the ropes. Rhialto tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rhialto misses with a knee to the head. Rhialto wants to break free but Freeley has control.
Freeley has had enough of the clinch but Rhialto keeps him there for the moment. Rhialto prevents Freeley from breaking the clinch. Rhialto wants a takedown but no success here.

Rhialto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Freeley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rhialto is looking for a triangle here but Freeley uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rhialto tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rhialto pushes Freeley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Freeley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rhialto tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rhialto can do anything to dispel that myth. Rhialto tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Freeley easily slips into full mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rhialto tries to hold on but Freeley pushes him away. Rhialto is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

A close second round but Chun Rhialto will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Freeley wants to clinch but Rhialto slips to the side and Rhialto counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rhialto. Rhialto trying to stand up but can't free himself from Freeley's guard. Rhialto is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Freeley is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Freeley has escaped and now he's on top! Rhialto is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rhialto wants to stand up but Freeley manages to regain full guard. Freeley is trying to control the position but Rhialto postures up. Rhialto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Rhialto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Freeley is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rhialto, into his guard. Freeley wants to stand but Rhialto has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Freeley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhialto trying to control the position here. Rhialto looking for a sweep. Not yet Rhialto, not yet. Rhialto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Freeley is aware though and is defending well. Chun Rhialto has got the better of the ground game so far.

Rhialto is pulling down on Freeley's head to control his posture. Freeley stops Rhialto from standing up. Freeley won't allow Rhialto to sweep him here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rhialto wants to stand up but Freeley is controlling him. IP Freeley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chun Rhialto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rhialto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Freeley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rhialto's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Chun Rhialto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Rhialto winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
