The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boledovic scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Boledovic seems to be working for a kimura but Nielson defends the submission attempt.
It looks like Boledovic is going to stand back up.

The referee is keeping an eye on Boledovic - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Boledovic tightens his grip and picks Nielson up, before dumping him to the ground. Nielson manages to land in guard.
Boledovic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nielson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boledovic has managed to get both his arms back between Nielson's legs - danger averted.
Boledovic wants to control from the top but Nielson keeps moving.
Boledovic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nielson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nielson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boledovic defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nielson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Boledovic to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Boledovic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Boledovic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nielson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nielson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Boledovic counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Nielson is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Boledovic counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nielson's guard now.
Nielson is rocked!
Boledovic loads up on a big left hand. Nielson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Boledovic looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Nielson can't hide his disappointment, as Boledovic celebrates the victory.
