Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa's entrance music is 26 Bass by Roni Size. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Madden is out of range.
Madden ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Madden blocks a head kick by Costa.
Madden works over Costa's head and body with a nice combination.
Madden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Madden closes the distance and clinches.
Madden swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Costa cracks Madden with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Madden is desperately trying to improve his position but Costa has a good base and remains in mount.

Costa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Costa is really struggling to control Madden but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Madden has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Costa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
