Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane The Pain Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spikey Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pain Killer comes to the cage accompanied by Combat Baby. Shane The Pain Killer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane The Pain Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Spikey Norman! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Pain Killer throws a hook to the side of Norman's head but Norman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Norman throws out a leg kick but The Pain Killer moves out of range and Norman only half commits. Norman slaps away a takedown attempt from The Pain Killer, before circling back to the center of the mat. The Pain Killer gets caught flat footed, as Norman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The Pain Killer wants to sweep here but Norman controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Norman postures up in The Pain Killer's guard and throws a big left but The Pain Killer blocks it. Norman trying to control the position from guard on top but The Pain Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Pain Killer keeping moving, preventing Norman from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Pain Killer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts The Pain Killer, as that shot connected.
Norman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Pain Killer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Norman controlling from side mount. The Pain Killer is breathing heavily. Norman tries for a kimura but The Pain Killer is defending well. Norman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, The Pain Killer has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Norman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, The Pain Killer rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Norman's guard! Nice work there by The Pain Killer! Norman is trying to keep The Pain Killer in close.
Norman keeping full guard, as The Pain Killer tries to pass. The Pain Killer postures up.
The Pain Killer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The Pain Killer working some strikes from top position. The Pain Killer passes into half guard. Norman trying to hold on to The Pain Killer's head to control him but The Pain Killer postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Pain Killer lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Norman moves into full guard.
Norman wants to sweep here but The Pain Killer controlling him for the moment. The Pain Killer lands a couple of elbows. The Pain Killer is looking to stand up but Norman won't let him. Norman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Pain Killer defends well. Norman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Norman can't keep his opponent in guard - The Pain Killer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Norman is looking to control The Pain Killer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Norman avoid being mounted? Norman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The Pain Killer decides to return to a standing position. The Pain Killer throws a nice looking combination but Norman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The Pain Killer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Norman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Norman tries to free his leg and advance position but The Pain Killer is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spikey Norman dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Norman avoids a punch combination nicely.

Norman trying to control the action but The Pain Killer is working from the bottom. Norman advances to full mount. Norman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now The Pain Killer is on top in guard.
Norman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Pain Killer manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norman trying to control but The Pain Killer is working from the bottom. Norman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Pain Killer swivels though and keeps the full guard. The Pain Killer can't keep his opponent in guard - Norman advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Norman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so The Pain Killer is just riding it out for now. Norman eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Norman is pressing down on The Pain Killer's thigh, looking to free his foot. The Pain Killer is holding on for now. Norman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. The Pain Killer is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Spikey Norman!
