Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Silvera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Die MTF (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from MTF.
Silvera scores with a nice strike.
Silvera circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silvera clinches up with MTF and pushes him back against the cage.

MTF is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silvera's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silvera's back!

MTF is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Silvera knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Silvera for a finish.

Silvera knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for MTF on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Silvera's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Die MTF seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MTF throws a series of punches but Silvera avoids them all with ease.
MTF shoots in for a double leg but Silvera sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
MTF tries to close the distance and clinch but Silvera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
MTF changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silvera tries to avoid it but MTF manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silvera to the ground. Silvera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Silvera moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Silvera misses with a few strikes there.

MTF tries to pull guard but Silvera holds him up against the cage and eventually MTF drops back down to his feet.
With the fighters up against the cage, MTF throws an elbow but misses.

MTF had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silvera is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. MTF Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silvera's back instead.
MTF is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

MTF might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Silvera kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
