Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hawkins closes the distance and clinches.
Reeves working hard to break the clinch.
Hawkins tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Reeves is trying to break the clinch but Hawkins has him pressed against the cage.
Reeves breaks the clinch.

and Hawkins moves into the clinch.
Reeves wants to break free but Hawkins has control.
Reeves prevents a body shot from Hawkins.
Reeves tries to break free but Hawkins pushes him back against the cage.

Reeves manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Reeves throws a sloppy head kick and Hawkins moves out of range easily.

Reeves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hawkins avoids the body shot from Reeves.
Hawkins pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Reeves tries to clinch but Hawkins moves out of range.
Hawkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reeves.

Reeves tries a head kick but it misses.
Reeves lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Johnny Hawkins has been cut.
Reeves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A head kick from Reeves lands but Hawkins takes it in his stride.
Hawkins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Reeves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hawkins counters with a three punch combo that has Reeves backing up. Reeves nods at Hawkins to acknowledge the strikes.
Hawkins clinches.

Hawkins lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Reeves or not.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reeves tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Reeves has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hawkins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hawkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hawkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Reeves is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hawkins wants to get up but he can't break Reeves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hawkins looks gassed!
Hawkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reeves swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Reeves has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Hawkins tries to stand but Reeves is controlling from the bottom.
Reeves is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hawkins keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Reeves throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reeves looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Reeves not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Reeves wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hawkins keeps working.
Reeves is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reeves throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Reeves throws a head kick that half lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Reeves dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Johnny Hawkins's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hawkins keeps the fight on the outside.
Hawkins doesn't manage to clinch there - Reeves circles away.
Reeves connects with a high kick.
Reeves throws a sloppy head kick and Hawkins moves out of range easily.
Mac Reeves is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hawkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Reeves tries to sprawl out of it but Hawkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reeves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hawkins avoids the head kick by Reeves.
Hawkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Hawkins keeps the fight on the outside.
Reeves scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Hawkins is breathing heavily.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Reeves! Hawkins is out on his feet! Reeves rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hawkins is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hawkins is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
