Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Karellin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Zerka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zerka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. mc circulaire kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nicolas Zerka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zerka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Karellin swivels and escapes.
Karellin works Zerka's body with a nice hook.
Karellin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Karellin lands a nice shot that snaps Zerka's head back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Karellin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zerka's head.
Zerka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Zerka looks gassed!
Karellin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zerka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Karellin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Karellin working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Karellin.
Karellin dips a shoulder and cracks Zerka with a mighty uppercut! Zerka falls back against the cage and Karellin unloads with a barrage of strikes! Zerka is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Karellin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Karellin!
