Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Beam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Timo Silakka! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab lands there for Beam. Silakka throws a nice looking combination but Beam bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A looping hook to the body misses from Beam. Silakka does a little dance to reset his feet. Jack Beam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silakka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beam. Beam showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silakka.
Silakka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beam moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Beam showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silakka.
Nice cross by Silakka. Silakka takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Beam misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silakka attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Nice defenses there by Silakka. Silakka scores with a one two! Beam had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Silakka slips a straight right by Beam.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silakka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Beam. A big left from Beam misses. Silakka throws a head kick but Beam moves out of range.

Timo Silakka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Beam shoots in but Silakka avoids the takedown attempt easily. Silakka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Silakka lands with a thumping leg kick.
Silakka slips under a jab from Beam. Beam falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silakka counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Beam is breathing heavily. Silakka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Beam counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silakka trying to control from the bottom.
Silakka is trying is best to control the position here. Silakka slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silakka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Beam's guard. Silakka looking to pass the guard. Silakka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beam has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silakka has managed to get both his arms back between Beam's legs - danger averted. Beam is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Beam can't keep his opponent in guard - Silakka advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Silakka in particular looking to stall. Beam looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Beam is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silakka pulls his head out easily. Silakka is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Silakka tries to control but Beam wriggling away. Silakka lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Beam takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Silakka looking to control but Beam is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Silakka punishing his opponent with strikes. Beam is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Silakka with shots to the head and body - Beam looks very uncomfortable down there. Silakka lands with some strikes. Silakka lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
A nice elbow there by Silakka. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Beam in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Beam is rocked! Beam in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Oh Beam is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! BOOM! Silakka connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timo Silakka dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silakka throws the left hand but Beam avoids the punch easily. Beam seems to have got his legs back now. Silakka connects with a superb combination that knocks Beam out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Silakka before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Beam!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Timo Silakka!
