Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Kick out the Jams by The MC5s. Rudy Perry told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Lee.
Lee throws a series of punches but Perry moves out of range.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Perry shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Perry gets slowly back to his feet.
Lee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Perry avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Perry shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely.
Perry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rufus Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rudy Perry.
Lee cracks Perry with a good jab.
No luck for Perry with that takedown attempt.

Lee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Perry's hands.
Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Perry shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rufus Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee lands a lovely overhand right.
Lee scores with a body shot.
Perry is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lee is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Perry.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Perry shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Perry with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lee to score with a decent uppercut.
Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Lee scores with a hook.
Lee lands with a nice body punch.
Perry looks gassed!
Lee throws a one two combo.

Perry fails with the takedown.

Lee thuds his right hand into Perry's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Perry misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lee throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lee throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Lee lands a body shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Lee.
Rufus Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A cross from Lee lands.
Perry ducks right into an uppercut from Lee.
Perry on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Lee pushes Perry away with a front kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Lee.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Perry shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Perry's head backwards.
Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lee lands a two punch combo.
Perry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lee scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Perry doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Lee! Perry is backing up but he can't get away as Lee lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Perry and ends the fight. Great knockout.
