Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bas Rutten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Tucker! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tucker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rutten manages to avoid it. Rutten throws a jab but it's blocked by Tucker. Rutten misses with a shot to the body and Tucker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rutten thinking. Tucker swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rutten. Rutten swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tucker counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A chopping leg kick lands by Tucker. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tucker scores with a hook to the body. Rutten takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rutten is breathing heavily. Tucker shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rutten is trying to defend but Tucker finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Tucker is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rutten defends it well. Rutten is staying active underneath Tucker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tucker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rutten keeps working. Tucker passes the guard and advances to mount! Rutten is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker unloads with some shots from mount but Rutten bucks and avoids them well.
Tucker misses with a head shot. Rutten wants to control but Tucker is having none of it. Rutten is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tucker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tucker unloads with some shots from mount but Rutten bucks and avoids them well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tucker pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Tucker trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tucker prevents Rutten from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rutten. Tucker does a little dance to reset his feet. Tucker fails to land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Tucker. Tucker defending well as Rutten loads up on a big left hand. Tucker throws a series of punches but Rutten moves out of range. Bas Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rutten connects with the punch. Rutten swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Tucker counter with a right hand. Tucker misses with a low kick as Rutten jumps back. Tucker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rutten.
Tucker thows a left - swing and a miss! Rutten throws a series of punches but Tucker moves out of range. Rutten wants to clinch and Tucker counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Bas Rutten has been cut. Tucker moves away from the strike by Rutten. Tom Tucker seems to be getting the better of the standup. Rutten misses with a body shot
and Tucker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rutten's guard now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tucker works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rutten is staying active underneath Tucker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rutten blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tucker. Rutten tries to get to full guard but Tucker has control of the leg. Tucker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rutten's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rutten makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rutten. Tucker trying to control the position from guard on top but Rutten is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tucker postures up in Rutten's guard and throws a big left but Rutten blocks it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rutten will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rutten throws a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tucker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rutten misses with a double jab
and Tucker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rutten thinking. Tucker throws a nice looking combination but Rutten bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rutten throws a shot from downtown. Tucker moves away and avoids it. A decent looking cross lands there for Tucker. Rutten swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rutten lands a slapping body shot.
Rutten misses with a two punch combination.
Tucker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rutten checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Tucker lands a body shot.
Rutten takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Tucker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rutten looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tucker ducks under a wild hook from Rutten. Tucker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rutten to score with a decent uppercut. Tucker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rutten dodges the punch combination from Tucker.
Rutten connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rutten tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Rutten takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tucker tried to score with a low kick but Rutten checks it. A bone on bone clash there as Rutten blocks the leg kick.
Bas Rutten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tucker drives through with a takedown into guard. Tucker slips nicely into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tucker trying to control from half guard but Rutten is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Tucker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bas Rutten's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Tucker rushes Rutten with punches - Rutten moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rutten goes down! Tucker follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Tucker!
