Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coal Hagride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama said "Knock You Out". The crowd seem to be enjoying Hagride's choice of entrance music: I am Black Torment. Salvador Alves had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a two punch combination.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Hagride fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Hagride walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hagride shoots in looking for a takedown. Alves tries to sprawl out of it but Hagride keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alves manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Alves tries to bum rush Hagride with a series of wild strikes but Hagride uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hagride feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coal Hagride showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alves throws a right and a left that Hagride avoids nicely.

No joy there for Alves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hagride throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alves was covering up waiting for the punch and Hagride finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Alves wants to stand but Hagride is controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Salvador Alves showed his dominance in that final round.
