The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durante Jr drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Durante Jr is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kicurasz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Durante Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kicurasz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Kicurasz is looking to reverse the position.
Durante Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Durante Jr tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
You can see the frustration on Kicurasz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kicurasz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Durante Jr is trying to control. Kicurasz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kicurasz makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kicurasz lands with a right that hurts Durante Jr. Durante Jr looks to clinch but Kicurasz throws a short knee that drops Durante Jr. This one is all over!
