Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Jefferson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Uljas Tossavainen! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jefferson shoots in and bounces Tossavainen off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Tossavainen keeping moving, preventing Jefferson from controlling successfully. Tossavainen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jefferson manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Jefferson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tossavainen postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jefferson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tossavainen stacks Jefferson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tossavainen! Jefferson is trying to get back to half guard. Jefferson is trying to control Tossavainen's posture but Tossavainen avoids it. Jefferson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jefferson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jefferson. Tossavainen clinches. Jefferson avoiding damage as Tossavainen throws knees to the body.
Jefferson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tossavainen smiles and moves away.
Tossavainen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jefferson sprawls well initially but Tossavainen persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jefferson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tossavainen pulls his head out easily. Tossavainen prevents Jefferson from improving his position. Tossavainen tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Jefferson wants to get back to full guard but Tossavainen has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tossavainen wants to control the pace but Jefferson is squirming around nicely. Tossavainen manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jefferson to take his back! Jefferson wants to escape the position.
Tossavainen has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Jefferson is defending well but eventually Tossavainen manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Jefferson has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
