Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raskae Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes comes to the cage accompanied by Monster - Eazy E. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Holmes keeps control of Dixon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A left hand lands to the body for Holmes.
Dixon tries to break free but Holmes pushes him back against the cage.
Dixon misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dixon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Dixon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Holmes cracks Dixon with a nice body shot.

Holmes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holmes lands a left and a right that send Dixon crashing to the mat, dazed. Holmes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Raskae Dixon has been cut.
Holmes works Dixon's body with a nice hook.
Holmes scores with a body shot.
Holmes drops Dixon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dixon looks back up at him and smiles so Holmes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Dixon is rocked!
Holmes connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Dixon out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rodney Holmes!
