The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukes throws a series of punches but Down avoids them all with ease.
Dukes throws a head kick that misses.
Dukes defending well as Down loads up on a big left hand.
Down fails with the takedown.
A choreographed right hand from Down misses the target.
Down blocks a head kick by Dukes.
Dukes misses with the combination.
Dukes throws a head kick but Down moves out of range.
Down avoids the head kick by Dukes.
Down scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dukes sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Down connects with a nice short shot to Dukes's temple.
It looks like Frederick J Dukes has been cut.
Down working the head and body with strikes.
Down working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Dukes is rocked!

Down slips a nice elbow through Dukes's hands, connecting with Dukes's forehead.

Dukes could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
