Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ali Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon moves out of range of the body kick from Bang.
Bang wants to clinch.
Bang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dixon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bang tries to clinch up but Dixon circles away and keeps his distance.
Bang scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Dixon tries to improve position but can't.
Dixon is trying to control Bang's posture but Bang avoids it.
Bang working the ground and pound but Dixon is defending the strikes.
Dixon is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bang has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sloppy strikes there by Bang.
Bang tries to score with some ground and pound. Dixon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Bang is trying to control the action in half guard but Dixon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Dixon holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Dixon tries to get to full guard but Bang has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bang is keen to just control but Dixon is a slippery customer.

Bang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bang looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Dixon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dixon!
Poor strikes thrown by Bang there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Bang is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dixon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Dixon is bucking up trying to escape but Bang cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Dixon avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bang.
Bang throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

BOOM! Bang connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Bang lands a big shot to the head and Dixon winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
