Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Metis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frederik Valefar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metis comes to the cage accompanied by Right Now - Van Halen. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Valefar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Valefar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Metis manages to avoid it.
Valefar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Valefar is looking to advance position but Metis won't allow it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Metis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Valefar passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Valefar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Valefar throws an elbow but Metis slips to the side and avoids it well.
Metis is trying to get back to half guard.
Metis regains half guard.
Metis is pressing down on Valefar's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Valefar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Metis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Valefar trying to control the position from guard on top but Metis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Valefar stands and throws Metis's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Metis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Valefar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Metis is breathing heavily.
Metis tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Metis is looking to reverse the position.
Valefar tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valefar in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Metis is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
