The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dos Jaques.
Dos Jaques moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dos Jaques misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dos Jaques takes a swing at Saga's ribcage but misses.
Dos Jaques throws a low kick but it's checked well by Saga.
Dos Jaques shoots for a double leg takedown but Saga sprawls well. He's pushed Dos Jaques's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Saga scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Saga is looking to advance position but Dos Jaques won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dos Jaques can do anything to dispel that myth.
Saga wants to take a breather but Dos Jaques is having none of it.
Saga is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dos Jaques!
Saga jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dos Jaques manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Dos Jaques tries to strike from the bottom but misses.

Saga is putting a hurting on Dos Jaques here, landing some big shots from side control.
Saga has an Americana. Dos Jaques didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Saga is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Saga hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
