Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Umbabarauma Smith II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Helio Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Umbabarauma Smith II!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie defending well as Smith II loads up on a big left hand.
A combination from Smith II does no damage.
Helio Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith II manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Smith II in his guard.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith II doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith II manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Smith II must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gracie jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Smith II is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Smith II and Gracie has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie is trying to work for a sweep but Smith II has mounted him!

Gracie bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith II throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie shoots in and bounces Smith II off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Helio Gracie will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
A cross from Smith II lands.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith II but Smith II pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gracie closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Gracie goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Smith II is on top in guard.

Smith II tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom.

Umbabarauma Smith II has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie is looking for a triangle but Smith II pushes his legs off easily.
Smith II postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith II pinned against the cage. Smith II gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith II looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Smith II connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.
It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Smith II throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
Smith II jabs Gracie right on the nose. Gracie blinks but takes it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helio Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith II is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Smith II circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight!
Umbabarauma Smith II comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
