Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jun Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tri Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Why we thugs. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jun Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tri Angle! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angle walks into a straight right hand from Kimura. The fight stays on the outside here - Angle looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kimura closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Angle to the mat! Angle manages to get full guard. Kimura works over Angle with some ground and pound from guard. Kimura drops back, looking for a kneebar! Angle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Angle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Angle! Kimura is trying to improve his position. Kimura is working hard here to advance position. Angle decides to stand back up. Tri Angle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kimura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Angle sprawls well initially but Kimura persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kimura thows a huge punch but Angle dodges it nicely.
Angle looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kimura looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Angle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura seems to be working for a kimura but Angle defends the submission attempt. Kimura lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Angle is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kimura drops an elbow to the side of Angle's head. Kimura is looking for a kimura here.
Kimura is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kimura advances to half guard. Kimura throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kimura is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kimura is breathing heavily. Kimura is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kimura not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura works his way into side control. Kimura tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Angle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Angle tries to escape but Kimura is in control. Angle on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kimura working the ground and pound. Kimura tries for a kimura but Angle is defending well. Kimura is trying to get an arm triangle but Angle is defending well. Kimura goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Angle has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kimura but great work by Angle. Kimura sneaks back into half guard. Kimura tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Angle has advanced to mount. Uh oh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jun Kimura dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kimura shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Angle is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kimura pulls his head out easily. Kimura looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kimura passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Angle! Angle is breathing heavily. Kimura is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura landing punches. Kimura wants to control the pace but Angle is squirming around nicely. Kimura connects with a bit shot that sees Angle covering up! More strikes from Kimura and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Kimura is our winner by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jun Kimura!
