Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nav Dhanju (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Begin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Begin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kid rock, American Badass. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dhanju throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Begin's waist but Begin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dhanju off to one side.
Dhanju gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Begin works over Dhanju with some ground and pound from guard.
Begin advances position into side control!
Begin with the ground and pound but Dhanju regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Begin in particular looking to stall.
Begin missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Begin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Begin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Begin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dhanju defending well though.
Begin slows the pace down in half guard.
Begin landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Dhanju knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Begin on the ground.

Begin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Begin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dhanju's head.
Begin passes to full mount!
Begin controlling the position easily from mount.
Dhanju really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dhanju is breathing heavily.
Begin trying to control but Dhanju is having none of it.
Begin looking to control and managing it successfully.
Begin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dhanju's face.

Begin looking to control but Dhanju is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Begin controlling from the full mount.
Begin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Begin lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Begin looking for a guillotine from mount but Dhanju is having none of it.

BOOM! Begin connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Begin breaks from Dhanju's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Dhanju is rocked!
Begin landing strikes from the mount and Dhanju is in trouble!
Begin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dhanju to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dhanju shrugs it off.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Begin working for a submission but Dhanju is keeping him at bay.
Dhanju is in a horrible position here. Begin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Begin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Begin is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dhanju can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Dhanju is bucking up trying to escape but Begin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Dhanju is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Begin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Dhanju seems to have got his legs back now.

Begin looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Begin scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Dhanju takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Begin's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
