Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Efrain Wallid!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Wallid takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Smith cracks a nice hook into Wallid's ribs.
Wallid takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wallid looks gassed!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallid is defended easily by Smith.
Smith throws a nice looking combination but Wallid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wallid tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smith sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallid somewhat.
Smith lands with a cross.
It looks like Efrain Wallid has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith thuds a left hand into Wallid's body.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith looks to land a combination. Wallid sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Smith lands a big uppercut and Wallid crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wallid looks OK. Smith waves Wallid back to his feet!
Wallid is rocked!
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wallid is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith throws a series of punches but Wallid avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallid is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Smith doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Wallid crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Wallid's bad books for that mishap!
