And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leopold swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Leopold lands a jab to the head.
Leopold lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice cross by Leopold.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Leopold keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Gracie trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Leopold manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Gracie has control of Leopold's left arm, preventing Leopold from doing any damage.

Leopold tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie pulls Leopold in close to prevent any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Leopold wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Gracie's closed guard. He's half up but Gracie has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Gracie pivots and extends the arm, Leopold falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Gracie! Well done that man!
