PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Finn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Von Bondies - C'mon c'mon. Lindsey has chosen Californication - RHCP as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finn swats away the attempt to clinch by Lindsey.

Finn shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lindsey napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Finn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lindsey down.
You can see the frustration on Lindsey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Finn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lindsey keeps working.
Lindsey is trying to control Finn's posture but Finn avoids it.

Finn remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Lindsey postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Finn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lindsey, into his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A punch lands to the side of Lindsey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
