Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timur Orlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunde Sven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Timur Orlan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gunde Sven!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sven throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sven is looking to score with low kicks.
Sven looks to land a combination but Orlan avoids it well.
Orlan blocks a jab.
Orlan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sven checks it well.
Gunde Sven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sven throws a right and a left that Orlan avoids nicely.
Sven chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Orlan can pounce on him.
Orlan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A combination from Sven does no damage.
Sven shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Orlan pinned against the cage. Orlan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Orlan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sven has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sven and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Sven counters with a left and a right that stings Orlan.
Sven gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Orlan.

Orlan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sven with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Orlan to score with a decent uppercut.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sven might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Orlan has got the better of the exchanges.

Sven uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Orlan has time to react.
Orlan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sven.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Orlan.

Orlan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sven.
Timur Orlan is winning the standup battle so far.
Sven uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Orlan.
Sven throws a predictable looking body shot
and Orlan counters with a stiff right hand.
Sven gets a takedown into half guard.
Orlan is trying to stand up here but Sven is controlling him well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Orlan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
