Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaito Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Peter Pan has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Pan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zaito Mendez! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Pan. Pan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Peter Pan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendez keeps the fight on the outside. Mendez is looking to clinch. Pan looks to clinch and Mendez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mendez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pan scores a nice knee to the body.
Mendez avoids the elbow strike from Pan, against the cage.
Pan looks to throw an elbow but misses. Pan is pushing Mendez up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Pan creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Pan missing with knees to the body.
Pan decides to pull guard. Pan working a defensive guard here.
Mendez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mendez wants to pass the guard but Pan is keeping the position. Pan wants to get back to his feet but Mendez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mendez, into his guard. Mendez thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Pan wants to stand but Mendez is controlling his posture from full guard. Pan wants to control from the top but Mendez keeps moving. Mendez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Mendez throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Mendez looking for a triangle here. Pan is fighting it but it looks tight! Mendez pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Pan is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Zaito Mendez!
