Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mangello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karlsson comes to the cage accompanied by Mayhem. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tony Mangello was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mangello!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson feints and as Mangello raises his hands in defense, Karlsson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Karlsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mangello has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karlsson has managed to get both his arms back between Mangello's legs - danger averted.
Karlsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Mangello is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mangello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karlsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karlsson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mangello swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Karlsson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mangello wants to get back to his feet.

Karlsson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Mangello regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Karlsson.

Karlsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Karlsson forces his way into half guard.
Karlsson is looking to take a break and control but Mangello is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mangello pushes Karlsson off looking to stand but Karlsson dives back in and keeps control.
Karlsson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Karlsson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mangello knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Karlsson works his way into side control.

Mangello is looking to get back to his feet here but Karlsson is keeping cool and he's managed to take Mangello's back.
