The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sikes avoids the body shot from Fenix.
Fenix loads up on a big right hand but Sikes slips the punch.
Sikes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fenix.
Sikes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Fenix misses with a body shot.
Fenix misses with a wild body shot.
A clash of legs there as Sikes blocks the low kick.
A combination from Sikes does no damage.
Fenix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sikes counters with a nice body shot.
Sikes ducks under a wild hook from Fenix.
Fenix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sikes.
Fenix misses the jab.
Sikes tests Fenix's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Fenix misses with a looping left.

and Sikes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fighters circling - Sikes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fenix misses with a two punch combination.
Fenix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Sikes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fenix sprawls well. Fenix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sikes gets slowly back to his feet.

Fenix throws a jab but it's blocked by Sikes.
Sikes scores with a jab to the body.
Sikes looks to land a combination but Fenix avoids it well.

Sikes lands a left and a right that send Fenix crashing to the mat, dazed. Sikes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fenix throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sikes scores with a counter punch that sends Fenix to the canvas! Sikes smells blood - he's punishing Fenix with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Fenix has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
