Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Ellsworth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ellsworth changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barnes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Barnes takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Barnes is trying to control Ellsworth's posture but Ellsworth avoids it.
Barnes is trying to improve his position.
Ellsworth throws an elbow but Barnes slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ellsworth sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Barnes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Ellsworth working away.
Barnes is trying to get back to half guard.
Ellsworth is chipping away with strikes.
Barnes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ellsworth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ellsworth looks up at the clock and then as Barnes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ellsworth smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barnes is trying to get back to his feet.
Ellsworth grinds an elbow into Barnes's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ellsworth is putting a hurting on Barnes here, landing some big shots from side control.
Ellsworth trying to control the position but Barnes is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barnes is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Ellsworth is looking to take a break and control but Barnes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ellsworth working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
You can see the frustration on Barnes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Barnes is rocked!
A big shot lands for Ellsworth! That's hurt Barnes! Will he recover? Ellsworth fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
