Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hicken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zachery Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bret Hicken! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zachery Rey! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hicken throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hicken misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hicken scores with a sloppy right hand. Rey should have avoided that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hicken misses with a straight right. Rey swings away with a body shot that misses

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Rey has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Hicken bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hicken dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hicken takes a swing at Rey's ribcage but misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hicken won't allow Rey to sweep him here.
